there is so much wrong with what you just said….first of all a full house is higher than a flush…second of all flushes arent common….and he won with a strait flush….thats one of the highest hands in poker
Technically it doesn’t matter because the hand is over, but according to the rules, by default the one who is called is to show first. The dealer should’ve motioned and possibly directly told Bond to show since no one else took it upon themselves to show first.
look closely at 2:10. Look on Le Chiffre’s side of the table and notice how many more chips he has. Then look on Bonds side. When Bond “wins it all”, he doesn’t necessarily because Le Chiffre would remain in the tournament becasue he has significantly more chips. Definitely a movie mistake.
I realize that, but with the movie taking a popular game such as poker and just completely disregarding the most basic of rules and having the players (who are playing for millions of dollars) make the most amateur of mistakes just seems ridiculous to anyone who’s actually played the game.
Not there depictions of card players in modern movies has ever been realistic. I just find it funny to analyze such a ridiculous hand.
lol chances of that happennig is very very very small like throwing a coin in the air and it lands on the sun and doesnt melt and destroys the sun lol:D
your very true…. bond and the other dude were heads up and playing for the side pot…
as u said bond made the alli-in and shudda flipped his card first..
it makes me sick watching this video..
Dadge42, LOOOOOL! That made me laugh so hard :D:D I guess you have to play poker to understand it though. I will now subject your genious post to some classic copypasta.
Bond is a real donk here, he called a 6x big blind raise (possibly a raise and a reraise) with 57s in the small blind. He’s completely out of position and vulnerable to a reraise.
Also, why didn’t anyone, especially the short stacks who put half their stacks in preflop, bet before the river? And the dealer should’ve made Bond flip his cards up first because he was called. I guess the whole table were donks.
In the very next scene Bond can be heard saying, “THEY WERE SOOTED.”
i like how smartly he played… he knew he was winning since the turn came up.. still he didn’t raise too much.. even he didn’t raise after the river knowing that other sure wud (coz of the cards that came up).. a mind blowing game!!

dadge42, the rules of poker were merely sacrificed for artistic effect so he could be the last to showdown..
666tonky, the chances of a straight flush are indeed very small (about 65000:1) but your exploding-sun hypothesis is even less likely!
