   But, just imagine how much harder it is to create music that TELLS YOU A STORY, WITHOUT SAYING A WORD! I think it’s almost harder to create instrumental music that stays interesting; because you have that much more of a challenge. With lyrical songs I can pick 3 chords and strum them on my guitar, then sing about my lost love! Ratatat is a million times beyond that, you can’t even compare anything to them! They take your imagination to places you’d never imagined you could go, w/o saying a word

   i don’t know about best band in the world man. definately best insturmental band in the world, by far. no one esle even comes close. but such a huge part of music is in the lyrics and its hard to say a band with no lyrics is the greatest. but they are certainly top five bands in the world right now, lyrics or not!!

   Truly amazing. This live version definitely sounds much better than the studio version. The intro is what made the song… creates such a chill and calm atmosphere.
