   No he is cold becuase he is a trained military man who has killed so many times that he does not feel remorse and thats why he is a womanizer (remember that married woman he sleeps with in on the beach who is later found dead in the hamock) but yes he becomes even more cold after vesper dies.

   yeh, because chronologically vesper is the first woman he falls in love with, and she betrayed him, so he detached himself, became cold as ice, which explains how he can so easily take lives, and drop women just like that.

   Casino Royale was great and Daniel Craig was a great bond in it, but Quantum of Solace was really bad, I have all the films and the worst thing about QOS was the main theme, not a bond theme, just some commercial crap from crap singers.

   He is a killer, he works for the goverment as a spy he is a killer think every book every film he is out to kill, think quantum of solace he was out for revenge. James Bond is a trainer killer and thats why he has so many relasionships becuase he is so cold and can easy detach himself from women (unless he falls in love like with visper).

    I didnt picture bond as a killer in the book but a lonely man who meets people but never gets to have any relation and hes clever and cunning

    No i think you will find in the books hes dark haired plus its meant to be like a sterotypical image of a english man the whole dark and mysterious image but Daniel Craig is fanastic as he captures the whole idea of Bond being a dark, heartless cold blooded killer which Bond is which he really brings out.

    Oh K I understand now, i think a lot of people will interpret your original comment wrong, but i get what you mean, according to the books its Daniel Craig but for people who havent read the books they will have different perceptions of what Bond looks like. The movies often dont have the same feel as the books, and so give different perceptions of Bond compared to the books, but Of course movies will differ from the books and therefore so wil on screen Bond to the what he is in books

    i agree brosnan is my fav. but all i ment was tht ppl shldnt lke slate daniel for his looks cos he was the closest to the oringinal i didnt mean anything bout the other actors they were all good. but tbh…pierce is a lil to old to be playing the part again. all the actors played bond in a differnt way. nobody is going to lke every bond its just the way it is. they all interprut the character in a differnt way. at the end of the day if u enjoy the movie does it really matter.

    I dont agree with you there, because even though the books might have said that Bond is blonde and daniel craig is yeah. I think that Pierce Brosnan is the perfect bond on looks and personality, Pierce definately looks like a 00 Agent easily, and Bond is supposed to be a womanizer and charmer which Pierce was, I think Daniel Craig is too serious to be James Bond….please Bring Pierce back, he just had some crap scripts thats the problem

    didnt lke the second daniel craig film jst felt lke a fill in.
    ppl shldnt complain bout how he doesnt look lke how bond is supposed to look. cos in the books he was actually ment to blonde i thnk. so hes actually truer to the character than theothers.

    the day i watched Casino Royale, i became a fan of Daniel Craig. he is the original bond of the books, not the prince charming of the old movies. Bond is an assassin, c’mon, of course he must be strong & brutal. all the former bonds looked like a hero of some romantic movie. none of them had what Daniel has. and just to remind you guys, the new bond dosen’t have to use fancy gadgets to beat his opponents. Daniel is the best bond ever.

    bond is getting too strong…In the older films he was strong enough to fight one on one, but in the newer ones, he just muscles his way through fights. Back in the day, bond beat the huge guys with his brain and immediate surroundings. In the newest film, after beating a few guys up, he breaks off a door handle with his bare hands. too much, but that’s just my opinion.
