It’s a Junior Special 2
The canadian code for it is ELPJVSCH.
Epiphone Les Paul Junior Vintage Sunburst Chrome Hardware. We refer to it at the factory as the Junior Special 2.
Nah, I`m not a big fan of trems but I have a few guitars with just plane ol` reglo trems. I repair tons of guitars so I try to stick to the facts with my comments. I just don`t like to hear a person trash any guitar with a bias opinion. People think that the more a guitar costs, the better it is, WRONG ANSWER!! I have cheap guitars that have tone and awsome playabilty and I have guitars that are expensive that suck. Simple as that. Trems are ok with me, just not my bag.
Gimme a break dude?!!! I have several guitars that cost mega bucks but I also have the casino. It sounds as good as any other guitar of this style. You should not speak.
No, it isn’t a Les Paul Jr.
Even the Epiphone Les Paul Jr has a single pickup; either the humbucker on the ‘normal’ one, or a P-100 on the ’57 reissue.
That guitar he holds up is a Special or Special II, which is similar, but has, as you can tell, 2 humbuckers, and lacks the Jr’s scratch plate..
no he was right..that IS epiphone’s les paul jr…but with a two pickup design and humbuckers instead of gibsons one pickup p90 from the the mid-late 50′s
what happened was that even though epiphone was established in 1873 they were losing their competitiveness after the 2nd world war so Gibson decided to buy the Epiphone. So the relation between Epiphone and Gibson is sort of like Squire is to Fender..still I believe that Epiphone is much better!
